TAIPEI (BRAIN) — Merida Industry's president and Chief Information Security Officer resigned in July.
Tseng Shang-Yuan (also known as Vansen Tseng) resigned with filings listing his reason as "career planning." The company said the duties of the president will be temporarily assumed by Merida's chairman, Tseng Song-Zhu (Michael Tseng).
Vansen Tseng is the grandson of Merida’s founder, Ike Tseng, and son of Chairman Michael Tseng. He had worked at Merida since 2004.
The company said the board will announce a permanent president after it approves a hire.
Tseng's duties as the Chief Information Security Officer will be temporarily assumed by Merida's Vice President, Liu Ming-Gen.
