FRANKFURT (BRAIN) — Eurobike organizers say they will not hold a distinct e-mobility event alongside the bike show in 2026.
In a news release on Wednesday, the show's organizers, Fairnamic, said, "In 2026, there will be no Mobifuture event co-located with Eurobike. Mobility concepts beyond today’s bicycles or e‑bikes will still have their place at Eurobike. Fairnamic has understood that key market participants see the need for further clarification of Mobifuture’s concept and direction, which is why it will not present it as a standalone trade show format in 2026."
Eurobike announced Mobifuture at last June's show. Mobifuture was planned to be held at the same venue as Eurobike over the same dates, with a single entry ticket. Last month, two German trade groups pulled their support for Eurobike, saying in part that Mobifuture would be a distraction from Eurobike's focus on the traditional bike market.
