LONGMONT, Colo. (BRAIN) — Gore Bike Wear has hired recently retired pro cyclists Fabian Cancellara as a new brand ambassador.

Gore said Cancellara will not only function as a brand ambassador but will also actively contribute to product development.
"His experience from professional sports is essential for us. We are convinced that apparel can only meet the high standards of our brand through thorough laboratory and road testing," said Clemens Deilmann, head of design at Gore Bike Wear. "Fabian Cancellara fits perfectly with us, as he shows the same passion for products, innovations, and details as our development team."
Cancellara will represent Gore Bike Wear at selected international events in the coming months.
