CAPE TOWN, South Africa (BRAIN) — Protective gear brand Leatt Corporation has hired Andrea Gallarotti, who joins the Leatt marketing team.
Gallarotti, 29, has spent the past five years working for Alpinestars.
"Andrea has valuable experience working closely with sponsored riders, attending races and coordinating racing activities for riders and sponsors," said Leatt's CEO, Sean Macdonald. "He has been directly involved in motocross world championships, supercross, freestyle, enduro trials and rally championships, and soliciting feedback from riders in terms of equipment and custom design. We believe that Andrea has exactly the kind of hands-on expertise and racing insight we need as we move forward with diversifying and broadening our product lines, and creating new product development and marketing concepts that will resonate with professional and amateur riders alike. Andrea will be working directly with consumers outside the U.S. to ensure that the Leatt brand is well represented globally. We are excited to welcome Andrea to the Leatt team and his role in developing our brand outside the U.S."
Gallarotti said, "I am very excited and proud to join this team of young professionals and will do my best to contribute to Leatt's future growth and excellence."
Gallarotti has also worked as a business development manager, a brand manager and a marketing and communications professional. He studied business administration and marketing at the Universita degli Studi di Padova in Padua, Italy, and has a master's degree with a specialization in marketing from Fondazione CUOA.
