KindHuman bikes offers scholarship program

Published November 22, 2013
TORONTO, Ontario (BRAIN) — The new bike brand KindHuman is launching a youth scholarship program that the company said will sponsor deserving youth cyclists with equipment support.

The company said the selection is based on recognizing youth based on their achievements — on and off the bike.

"It’s time to recognize people based on their achievements in life, first. We are inspired by true leaders - on the course and in their communities. We want to reward sportsmanship, humanity and a competitive spirit for the future of cycling," said KindHuman's Adam Abramowicz.

KindHuman is looking to sponsor one boy and one girl between 12 and 17 for the 2014 season through its Take The Lead Cycling Scholarship. Recipients will receive more than $5,000 worth of equipment including a Kampionne road bike.

An application is available on KindHuman's Facebook contest page.
