Published December 19, 2012

SCHWEINFURT, Germany (BRAIN) — SRAM has established a new management structure at SRAM Deutschland GmbH as the company transitions its facility here from manufacturing to a development and training center.

The three-man management team "will jointly lead the location to become a world-class representation of SRAM’s engineering and training skills and evolve the deep technical connection with customers," the company said in a statement Wednesday.

Effective Jan. 1, this new general management team consists of Bernhard Johanni, Richard Rüttiger and Marcus Schneider.

Werner Pickel, the current general manager, will resign his position and leave the company effective Dec. 31, SRAM said.

“The vision and leadership of the location will be jointly created and promoted by all three members of the GM team," said Denis Kelleher, vice president of European operations. "They will continue in their current roles while taking on these additional responsibilities.”
