2x2 Worldwide picks up Roux Bikes

Published December 5, 2012

STAFFORDSHIRE, United Kingdom (BRAIN)—U.K. distributor 2x2 Worldwide has added Roux Bicycles to its portfolio and will begin delivery later this month.

Roux road bikes are designed in the U.K. with a focus on various 700c models including touring, racing and cyclocross options. The nine-model line is primarily built around a 7005 lightweight alloy frame with a cromoly double butted steel frame for its Etape 250 touring frame and Menthe flat-bar commuter bike.

The timing is optimal to pick up Roux as the U.K. road market booms following exposure from the Summer Olympic Games and Bradley Wiggins’ Tour de France win, said Scott Hillyard, sales director for 2x2 Worldwide.

The Roux line is available this month and will ship in January. 2x2 Worldwide is also the designer and distributor for the Land Rover range of bikes, and the U.K. distributor for Montague full-size folding bikes and Shogun mountain, jump and BMX bikes.
