CAPE TOWN, South Africa (BRAIN) — Cycling and motorcycle protective brand Leatt is introducing a line of bike care products called GRiTT, covering cleaning, maintenance, and protection for pedal and motorized applications.
GRiTT products include wash, shine, chain lubricants, degreasers, tubeless sealant. According to a Leatt spokesperson, the products will be sold through Leatt’s distributors globally. In the U.S., they will be sold directly to dealers from its warehouse/facility/customer service team in Reno, Nevada.
GRiTT products include wash, shine, chain lubricants, degreasers, and tubeless sealant. According to Leatt, the "advance formulations use a variety of technologies:"
- Anti-corrosion additives protect metal components from rust and wear, extending their lifespan.
- Advanced Ceramic Technology creates a durable and protective coating that helps repel contaminants, reduces metal-to-metal friction, and extends chain life.
- Hexagonal Boron Nitride (h-BN) reduces wear and friction, delivering more efficient power transfer, a quieter drivetrain, and long-lasting performance.
- GRiTT cleaning products are formulated for increased viscosity (ViscoClean) to cling to any surface.
- Many of GRiTT's products have "Shake To Activate" technology — the products will combine upon shaking, and liquids will transform into liquid gels for less run-off.
- Next-Gen polymers leave a protective layer that helps water and dirt slide off.
According to Leatt, every ingredient in the TrueBIO formulation has been selected to naturally break down, leaving nothing harmful behind. All bottles are made from recyclable rPET and were developed for GRiTT to provide better grip, improved usability and a premium shelf appearance.
GRiTT inventory will arrive in the U.S. and Canada in mid-November.
