WHISTLER, British Columbia (BRAIN) — Canadian mountain bike parts manufacturer North Shore Billet announced its cranks are now being distributed by Vapor Propulsion Labs. The agreement will apply specifically to the NSB Talon Pinion and Talon Bosch cranks to provide more options for mountain biking enthusiasts using Pinion or Bosch-equipped bikes.
“This partnership represents a significant step forward in our commitment to delivering quality components to our customers,” said Chris Allen, co-founder of North Shore Billet. “By joining forces with VPL, we can combine our knowledge and industry experience to create great value.”
Allen said NSB and VPL will focus on serving customers who ride Pinion or Bosch equipment. VPL recently receiving its first batch of Talon Pinion cranks, offering various Q-factor options and crank lengths of 155mm, 160mm, and 165mm.
North Shore Billet was founded in 2003. The company makes parts in-house using aerospace-grade aluminum on its CNC milling machines.
VPL was founded in 2019 by longtime collaborators and industry veterans Zach Krapfl and Forrest Yelverton. VPL is based in Paonia, Colorado and distributes products for Bosch, Pinion, Supernova and 3X3. BRAIN profiled the company last November.
