Outdoor Retailer Summer show moved to August dates

Published February 23, 2021

DENVER (BRAIN) — Emerald Expositions announced Tuesday that its Outdoor Retailer Summer 2021 show, originally scheduled for June, has been moved to Aug. 10-12. The event is held at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.

"This change allows more time to facilitate a safe and successful in-person event, gives exhibitors and attendees more days to plan participation, and provides greater peace-of-mind in the opportunity to gather and do business together," the company said.

Show organizers said they will take extra COVID-19 precautions and will adapt plans as necessary in coordination with local health officials.

"When we reconvene in Denver this August, expect to see extra precautions we are taking beyond those mandated by government authorities, and face masks will be required of all persons entering the building, without exception," they said.

OR will also conduct education sessions throughout the summer in webinars, in partnership with Outdoor Industry Association.

The new OR dates are less than a week after The Big Gear Show, a new outdoor and bike trade show to be held in Park City, Utah, Aug. 3-5.
