Cane Creek updates its MAP policy

Published May 29, 2018

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (BRAIN) — Cane Creek Cycling Components has updated its minimum advertised price policy. The company said the update simplifies the existing policy by setting MAP and MSRP at the same price and contains provisions stating that Cane Creek will monitor and enforce the policy.

"Cane Creek has a history of stable pricing and equitable margins for all of our channel partners," said Ian Cross, director of sales for Cane Creek. "That stability depends on everyone along the sales channel operating from the same playbook, which in turn benefits everyone through reasonable and stable margins. This policy just helps ensure that everyone is on the same page."

The update to MAP coincides with the release of several premium products by Cane Creek including the HELM 29 suspension fork, a fourth generation of their popular eeBrakes and the eeWings titanium crankset.
