COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (BRAIN) — Beginning this month, Barnett Bicycle Institute is introducing new curriculum to its core Bicycle Repair and Overhaul class. The BRO course is an 80-hour professional mechanic's training.
Curriculum updates will introduce students to suspension service, as well as take a deeper dive in to hydraulic disc brakes with a process in master cylinder rebuilds.
BBI said, "We boosted the curriculum in BRO because suspension and disc brakes are common on modern bikes. We would like to make sure our education equips professional mechanics with the right knowledge to service the technology."
BBI will also go further into thru-axle discussion and demonstration during class lectures.
