NOVATO, Calif. (BRAIN) — Marin Mountain Bikes Inc. is relocating its headquarters to a new location in Petaluma, a community that is also home to CamelBak, e-Thirteen, White Industries, Kitsbow and Soulcraft Bikes.
Marin recently transferred its West Coast warehouse to a third-party logistics provider in Southern California, which the company said will provide faster service and more scalable storage space as the brand continues to grow.
"We're really looking forward to settling in to our new space," said Matt VanEnkevort, CEO of Marin. "While our current building has served us well for nearly 15 years, our needs have changed over time. We were looking for an office space with a more open floor plan, and better facilities for the staff, like showers and lockers. Our new home has all that, plus excellent access to trails."
"Using two 3PL's (third-party logistics centers) in the East and West positions us to better fulfill orders, and lets us focus on what we are really good at: making fantastic bikes. The growth that we are experiencing frankly has exceeded our ability to warehouse and distribute, and we felt the need to re-center on our strengths, and use best-in-class partners to help us with the things we're less good at."
Marin will operate out of the Petaluma facility starting Jan. 29. The address is:
1450 Technology Lane, Suite 100
