WILTON, Conn. (BRAIN) — Guru has promoted Jane Pearson to director of education and business development. She will be responsible for running Guru's training program at the Guru Academy in Bethel, Conn., and will expand global distribution of the Guru Fit System.
"Jane has played an integral role in developing the Guru Academy and will continue to enhance our training program," said Morten Kristiansen, general manager of Guru. "She has built outstanding relationships with our retailers and business partners, and we are looking forward to expanding her role."
Pearson joined Guru in 2013 as training and education manager, developing Guru's training curriculum for classes at the Guru Academy and Guru's online training.
She also has hosted regional training seminars at Guru retailers in North America and Europe. Guru is part of Dorel Industries' portfolio of cycling brands, which also include Cannondale, GT, Mongoose, Schwinn, Sugoi, Caloi and IronHorse.
