SANDY, Utah (BRAIN) — Reynolds Cycling has made two key staffing changes, promoting Travis Erwin to the newly created role of European general manager and hiring Lori Barrett as U.S. national sales manager.

Erwin moves into his new role from global sales development manager and will focus on market assessment, strategy execution and global brand positioning in the Europe, which Reynolds has identified Europe as an important growth market.

“Cycling obviously has a very long and rich history across the pond, and Europe continues to be a key market in our sport,” Erwin said. “I look forward to the opportunity to strengthen our presence there as a brand with existing retail partners as well as increasing distributorship as part of our global sales strategy.”

As U.S. national sales manager, Barrett will manage the North American sales team and oversee U.S. distribution. She has experience in specialty bike sales as an outside sales representative for Reynolds and as a factory representative for other industry brands. Most recently, Barrett was principal of an agency representing Pearl Izumi, Pivot Cycles and American Bicycle Group.

“I’m very excited to join the Reynolds team at this key time in its growth,” she said. “I’ve been riding Reynolds for a long time, and look forward to continuing development of the dealer-focused initiatives, while we continue investing in Reynolds’ carbon technology.”

Reynolds has also added Michael Serrano to its inside sales team, where he will assist with proactive sales and order facilitation.
