Mt. Borah releases app to design cycling clothing

Published February 13, 2013

COON VALLEY, WI (BRAIN) — Clothing maker Mt. Borah has released a new app for the iPad that allows customers to design semi-custom cycling clothing.

The free app allows users to specify color variations on tops and bottoms and choose upgrade options such as fabrics and pads. Once users find the right combo, they can send it off to Mt. Borah for a quote.

“With an increasing amount of traffic on our website turning to mobile and tablet, it was time to provide our customers with the platform they needed to interact with our site and brand more effectively,” said Ben Wizner, Mt. Borah’s marketing lead on the project.  Mt. Borah developed the app with Lackner-Buckingham, a Wisconsin digital design firm.

The app is available for download from the iTunes app store. An enhanced web version of the app will also be available within the next few weeks at mtborah.com.
