PORTLAND, OR (BRAIN)—Cycle Dog, America's leading recycled dog collar and leash company, has reached the milestone of 10,000 pounds of inner tubes that have been reclaimed and transformed into their products.

Cycle Dog collects tubes from bike retailers in the Pacific Northwest, as well as from individuals and teams, according to a press release. Founder Lanette Fidrych said, “Our industry goes through a lot of inner tubes. Our goal is to continue to raise awareness of the alternatives to throwing tubes into the garbage.”
