SEATTLE, Wash. (BRAIN) — Rad Power Bikes, one of the fastest growing e-bike brands in the direct-to-consumer channel, is suing an Arizona electric vehicle company that sells e-bikes under the Bam Power Bikes brand.
MONTEREY, Calif. (BRAIN) — Fazua, a German brand that makes a lightweight e-bike motor often used on road and gravel bikes, will appear at the Sea Otter Classic expo this month as it begins a push into the U.S. market. The company's motors are currently not officially available in the U.S.
In terms of e-bike units sold, the e-bike-only EBD channel is as big as the IBD. And they’re both growing.

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (BRAIN) — Industry associations continue to lobby against the 25 percent tariffs imposed on Chinese-made electric bikes and motors. But many suppliers and retailers say most premium brands typically sold at IBDs are not affected, since these bikes don’t come from China.
