SEATTLE, WA (BRAIN) March 19 2012 8:10 AM MT—REI last week reported an 8.4 percent jump in annual sales for 2011, to $1.66 billion, but operating income was down slightly, to $116.2 million from 2010’s record $116.6 million.
WESTPORT, CT (BRAIN)—Revenue and income for CamelBak and Fox Racing Shox were up last year, according to year-end earnings reported by parent company Compass Diversified Holdings.
MONTREAL, Canada (BRAIN)—Sales in Dorel’s recreation and leisure segment climbed 11 percent to $861.8 million in 2011, accounting for 36 percent of its overall business.
VAN NUYS, CA (BRAIN)—Easton-Bell Sports net sales hit $834.9 million last year, an increase over $772.8 million of sales it had in 2010. For the year, gross margin remained at 34 percent.
