SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — BRG Sports has extended its distribution agreements with Australia' Sheppard Industries for BRG's Giro and Blackburn products. Both agreements have been extended five years.

MUKILTEO, Wash. (BRAIN) — Full Speed Ahead released a revised minimum advertised price policy late last week and said it has initiated zero-tolerance enforcement for abusers. Violators of the policy will be not be eligible for future purchase of FSA products until further review, the company said in a release.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — The U.S. Census Bureau says the number of people who traveled to work by bike increased roughly 60 percent over the last decade, from about 488,000 in 2000 to about 786,000 during the 2008-2012 period.

MONTREAL (BRAIN) — The bike division at Dorel Industries saw revenues grow 18 percent during the first quarter, with gross profit and operating profit also up 17 and 71 percent, respectively. Officials pointed to better sales and cost control for the improvement over last year.
