TORONTO, Ontario (BRAIN) — Emerald Expositions recorded revenue of $128 million in its first quarter this year, a 6 percent increase over last year. The company said the increase was due to acquisitions and organic growth.

PORTLAND, Ore. (BRAIN) — Cyclone Bicycle has hired Mark Mollenkopf as its national sales director. Mollenkopf will help direct sales team expansion for the company.

Mollenkopf comes to Cyclone with nearly 10 years of experience in the cycling industry. He also has sales experience in the golf industry.

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia — Halifax retailer Barry Misener, a fixture in the Nova Scotia cycling community for more than 20 years, has teamed up with Giant Canada to open Giant Halifax. The 2,500 square-foot store, which opened in April, is located in downtown Halifax, close to the cities' two universities.
