Scott USA Launches Ogden-based 3PL Services to Support Growing Bike and Outdoor Brands
Scott USA today announced the launch of a new third-party logistics offering based out of the company’s Ogden, Utah facility, creating a flexible distribution solution for outdoor, bike, moto, and active lifestyle brands looking to scale more efficiently.
The new service gives brands access to Scott USA’s established warehouse and fulfillment infrastructure, including storage, B2B and D2C fulfillment, loading docks, warehouse equipment, shipping and receiving support, and customized logistics solutions. The offering is designed for companies that need professional distribution capabilities without taking on the cost, complexity, and fixed overhead of building or expanding their own warehouse operations.
For Scott USA, the move reflects the company’s strong operational position and more efficient U.S. footprint. After several years of refining its operations, Scott USA now has significant capacity available within its Ogden facility and is opening that capacity to select brand partners.
“Logistics is one of the hardest things for growing brands to solve,” said Hap Seliga, CEO of Scott USA. “A brand can have great product, real demand, and strong momentum, but if fulfillment, storage, and shipping costs are not under control, growth becomes harder than it should be. Our goal is to bring the operational discipline and infrastructure we have built in Ogden to brands that need a more flexible path to scale.”
Scott USA can support storage-only relationships, full fulfillment programs, or customized combinations based on inventory volume, sales channels, and operational requirements. The company can also support both B2B and direct-to-consumer fulfillment, with access to established carrier relationships and efficient shipping lanes across the western United States.
Scott USA’s Ogden location provides a strategic base for brands serving the Mountain West, West Coast, and national retail and consumer channels. The facility offers available warehouse, office, and production space, along with the infrastructure needed to manage inbound freight, inventory storage, pick-pack fulfillment, and outbound shipping.
The company has prior experience supporting third-party logistics operations and is now formalizing the offering at a time when many brands are seeking more flexible, cost-conscious alternatives to traditional warehouse expansion. For emerging brands, the model can reduce fixed costs and improve operational reliability. For established brands, it can provide overflow capacity, regional fulfillment support, or temporary storage during periods of growth, transition, or inventory concentration.
“Our goal is not to be a generic warehouse provider,” Seliga added. “We see this as an opportunity to help other brands, especially within the bike, outdoor, and active lifestyle communities, work with a partner that understands the realities of seasonal inventory, specialty retail, product complexity, and entrepreneurial growth.”
