Galfer USA is pleased to announce two strategic appointments that reinforce its commitment to growth and support for the North American motorcycle and bicycle markets.
With the opening of its Orlando facility in late 2025, Galfer now provides direct access to premium braking solutions and technical support for dealers, distributors, and customers across the United States and Canada.
For the motorcycle sector, Galfer USA welcomes Gary Hazel as National Sales Manager. Hazel brings more than two decades of experience across nearly every discipline of motorcycle racing and the powersports industry, including Enduro, Motocross, Road Racing, Dirt Track, and Vintage competition. He represented the United States three times at the International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) and has played a pivotal role in the powersports industry, including owning Thumper Racing and leading dealer development and brand growth for manufacturers such as FMF, Kawasaki Team Green, KTM, Sherco, Fantic, and Rieju.
“I’m very excited to begin this next chapter with Galfer USA,” said Gary Hazel. “Galfer has made a strong commitment to the U.S. market, and I look forward to growing the brand, strengthening our dealer network, and supporting distributors, dealers, and customers nationwide, bringing Galfer’s premium braking solutions to more riders.
For the bicycle sector, Galfer USA appoints Todd Somers as National Sales Manager of the bicycle division, reflecting the company’s continued expansion and focus on the U.S. market. Somers brings more than 30 years of bike industry experience, beginning in the 1990s at Trek, where he developed inside sales operations and customer support, and most recently serving as National Sales Manager for Hayes Bicycle Group, leading dealer-focused programs and long-term growth strategies.
“Joining Galfer USA at this pivotal time is an exciting opportunity,” said Somers. “With the Orlando branch now fully operational, we can further support dealers, riders, and partners while accelerating the introduction of innovative bicycle products in the U.S. market.”
