WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — About 40 Victgoal kids helmets are being recalled for violating mandatory safety standards and can fail to protect in the event of a crash.
The helmets, manufactured in China and sold at Walmart, do not comply with the retention system, positional stability, and certification requirements. No incidents nor injuries have been reported.
Consumers should contact Victgoal for a refund and destroy the helmet by cutting the straps and photographing it, showing the production date. The photo should be emailed to Walmart.
The red Victgoal helmets were sold in size small, fitting a head circumference of about 19.68 inches to 21.25 inches. They have red padding, black straps with a silver reflective pattern in the center, a black and red buckle and a black fit-adjusting knob. Only helmets manufactured in November 2025 are included in this recall. "Model HT-006," "Production: 2025/11" and "Ref/Lot# 2025A1101" are printed on a label on the inside. "Victgoal" is printed on the product packing bag.
The helmets were sold from March 2026 through June 2026 for between $22 and $36.
