Outerbike's Moab event kicked off with a meaningful Can'd Aid bike build event to support kids at the local community center and in the Navajo Nation through the Diné Bike Project
Longmont, Colo., November 7, 2025 — Outerbike is not only the best bike demo event in the universe—it's also a powerful force for giving back! Outerbike recently partnered with national nonprofit Can'd Aid to build and donate 60 bikes to kids during its demo event in Moab.
In early October, Outerbike raised funds and rallied individuals and local businesses to participate in a Can'd Aid bike build event—a fun, hands-on gathering during which volunteers roll up their sleeves and build Can'd Aid's signature kid-sized, cherry red bikes. Through people-powered goodness, 10 bikes were donated to a local community center, and another 50 were donated to kids through the Navajo Nation Diné Bike Project.
Can'd Aid is committed to getting kids outside and exploring the world on wheels! The national nonprofit has rallied volunteers to build and donate over 21,730 (and counting!) skateboards and bikes so far. Can'd Aid's turn-key events make it simple for community-minded organizations like Outerbike to participate.
"The biking community is incredibly warm, involved and generous, and working with Can'd Aid in Moab was a great way to bring people together and give back. It was the perfect, meaningful way to kick off our event." said Brendon Cameron, General Manager at Western Spirit Cycling Adventures.
Outerbike also held a bike repair workshop for community members during the event. Outerbike is a one-of-a-kind mountain biking experience where like-minded folks can ride trails in amazing locations and experience the very best way to pick their next ride. Can'd Aid has appeared at Outerbike for the past three years in a row.
