April 4th, Irvine CA- The National Bicycle Dealers Association (NBDA) is excited to announce the official agenda for the 2025 NBDA Retailer Summit Central, taking place May 20–22 in Bentonville, Arkansas. This premier event invites independent bicycle retailers to come together to redefine excellence, drive financial success, and shape the future of the industry.

The NBDA Retailer Summit Central is more than just an educational gathering—it's a transformative experience. Over three days, leading specialty retailers from across North America will join forces with forward-thinking industry leaders to explore best practices, confront shared challenges, and build sustainable strategies for profitability and long-term success.

Retailers are invited to Bentonville to ride, learn, and grow alongside the most engaged minds in the business.

This year's agenda includes powerful presentations and panel discussions from respected voices in the industry. Highlights include:

● Whitney Tabaian, President & CEO of Mike's Bikes, will present "The Future of Bike Retail: Culture, Leadership & Growth," sharing her journey navigating challenges, staying grounded in core values, and positioning Mike's Bikes for long-term growth in a shifting industry.

● The supplier panel "Overcoming 2025 Challenges & Building for 2026" will feature Rob Kaplan (BULLS Bikes USA), Scott King (SRAM), Angelo Mascelli (Giant Bicycles), and Chad Smith (HLC), discussing shifting market demand, supplier-retailer dynamics, and strategies for mutual growth.

● Sean Owen and Dan Jennings of SRAM will lead "Maximizing Service Profits – The SRAM Approach," offering insight on turning your service center into a profit powerhouse through better writing, replacement strategies, and training.

● Ray Keener of Growth Cycle will present "Be Your Own Sales Trainer," helping retailers and staff develop DIY sales techniques to boost conversion and customer satisfaction.

● Jay Townley of Human Powered Solutions will present "5 Key Strategies for Retailer Success in Late 2025 & Beyond," using current data to lay out a roadmap to agility and growth.

● Peter Woolery of Bicycle Market Research will explore "Data-Driven Business Health: How Data Can Chart a Path Forward," outlining key metrics and shared insights that guide stronger business decisions.

● Bob Margevicius of Specialized Bicycle Components will speak on "Expanding Cycling's Reach – Casual, Recreational, Transportation & Experiential Opportunities," offering ideas on how to grow participation by connecting to lifestyle and experience.

● George Lee of Rad Power Bikes will present "Thinking Outside the Box: Evolving Partnerships to Meet the Demands of the Rider," sharing his cross-sector experience on how retailers and brands can better serve today's evolving customer.

● Alessandro Pregel of Upway will lead "E-Bike Market Trends & Retailer Insights," presenting recent data and opportunities to thrive in the growing e-mobility space.

● Laura Montero of Bosch will present "Navigating E-Bike Power Limits in the U.S.," helping retailers stay informed on the changing regulatory landscape for e-bikes.

In addition to these educational sessions, the Summit features multiple keynotes and afternoon breakout sessions to further enhance the educational opportunities. Post-show and evening VIP networking events provide opportunities to explore local culture and the future of retail firsthand.

Retailers will also have access to invest in an additional opportunity outside of the Summit for their mechanics or staff members to attend technical e-bike training hosted by NWACC on May 20 and 21. The two-hour clinics are ideal for professional mechanics looking to advance their skills and e-mobility service capabilities.

Thanks to generous support from NBDA partners, retailers can save 50% off registration by using code VIP at checkout. Space is limited to 200 attendees, and spots are filling quickly. Register here. Top retailers and suppliers have already confirmed their attendance. View the full list of attendees here.

The Summit takes place alongside the Bentonville Bike Fest, creating a six-day celebration of cycling. Retailers who stay beyond the Summit can connect directly with consumers and explore the latest innovations in cycling and e-mobility, with early access to the show on Friday, May 23.

The NBDA is currently seeking brand partners to support the event and be part of the conversation. This is a unique opportunity to connect directly with top retailers, demonstrate leadership, and help shape the future of the specialty bicycle industry.
