After a successful first six months, SHIFT expands its remit with Wahoo, leveraging its category know-how, deep media expertise, and Google Premier Partner status, to enhance Wahoo's competitive edge and drive awareness, engagement and growth for its expanding product lineup
3 March 2025 - Bath, UK: SHIFT Active Media has won a competitive pitch to expand its scope with Wahoo and will now lead their Paid Search Strategy and Execution. This extension strengthens SHIFT's role in supporting Wahoo's growing product lineup and business expansion, particularly for their leading indoor trainer range and the introduction of the KICKR RUN smart treadmill.
Having worked with Wahoo since June 2024, SHIFT started by elevating their global paid media planning and buying. During that time SHIFT has not only driven demand for Wahoo's indoor bike trainer range but also successfully launched the KICKR RUN, amplifying its introduction through targeted paid media campaigns. The strategy included endemic partnerships and activations across Connected TV, YouTube, display networks, and Strava.
With the expanded remit, SHIFT is now leveraging its Google Premier Partner status to enhance Wahoo's competitive edge. Through exclusive insights, BETA programmes, and access to advanced ad technologies, SHIFT will help Wahoo effectively reach, engage, and convert its global audience of runners, cyclists, and triathletes.
Bruce Sandell, Wahoo Fitness (Vice President of Business Development & Public Relationships) said: "We are delighted to extend our relationship with SHIFT as our partnership has delivered great results to date. SHIFT has shown an instinctive and deep understanding of our business, audiences and brand. They have successfully integrated with us - so well, that they already feel part of our team. They are all Wahooligans, like us!"
As Wahoo continues to evolve - expanding its product range and entering new markets - SHIFT is grateful for the opportunity to support their ambitions, helping drive awareness, engagement, and growth along the way.
