The announcement follows the recent appointments of Dennis Weijers as Chief Commercial Officer and James Vickers as Head of Marketing & Communications. As one of the few brands demonstrating continued growth and investment in headcount within the cycling industry, Classified is showing its growing strength and a clear intent to increase market share with this latest appointment.
With over a decade of leadership experience in the industry, Van der Weerd has a proven background in commercial strategy, business development and sales management. He has held key roles at Enviolo, where he was responsible for global revenue, and Pon.bike, where he managed international sales for various high-profile brands. His extensive expertise makes him an invaluable asset for Classified as the brand grows in a competitive landscape.
