The full CADEX product line up now available online, with profit margins shared with the customer's nearest local CADEX dealer.

(Newbury Park, California - June 24, 2020) CADEX, the manufacturer of high-performance cycling products, today announced the launch of an e-commerce platform offering the full lineup of CADEX cycling components. The platform is designed to be both a seamless online channel for consumers as well as one that is profitable for CADEX retailers, with one-hundred percent of the profit margin generated from an online sale being shared with the consumer's nearest CADEX retailer.

"We're happy to be launching our e-commerce platform at a time when our retailers need all the help they can get," remarked Dan Thomas, Gear Business Manager. "We know riders are eager to get on the road and back into shops but, in the months ahead, may also prefer the convenience of shopping for key products online. With CADEX's new e-commerce functionality, we're able to offer riders the best of both worlds: the ease of shopping online and getting the product sent right to their door as well as the opportunity to support their local shops with our margin share initiative."

When a consumer purchases a CADEX wheelset, saddle, or tire set on the CADEX website, it ships directly to the customer. The closest stocking retailer to the consumer (within a 100-mile radius) then receives full margin credit on the items purchased. The only requirements for the retailer to receive this margin share are a 12-month purchasing history in the item series and a good account standing in payables.

The CADEX project began in 2016 as an ambitious attempt to develop superior cycling components for pro racers. The brand name stems from a 1985 "moonshot" project by Giant that pioneered the application of carbon fiber material for bicycles. Decades later, CADEX has been reimagined as a new category of cutting-edge cycling components which includes 42mm and 65mm deep hookless carbon road wheelsets, 4-spoke Aero, and Aero Disc wheelsets for TT and triathlon applications, race-ready 23mm, 25mm, and 28mm tubeless tires as well as a super-lightweight carbon saddle.

CADEX is also focused on researching the bike and rider in motion, exploring new material technologies, and investing in advanced production processes. To kick off the project, CADEX assembled a team of engineers, biomechanics experts, and pro athletes, including WorldTour squads and professional Ironman triathletes. From 2016-2018, the prototype WheelSystems, saddles, and tires that the team developed, tested and raced at the pro level, were labeled #overachieve, appearing on the bikes of Olympic champion Greg Van Avermaet of CCC Team, Australian Ironman pros Tim Van Berkel and Sam Appleton, and road racers from the CCC-Liv Team including three-time road world champion Marianne Vos.

Details on all the CADEX products, along with warranty and incident replacement information, can be found on the CADEX website at www.cadex-cycling.com.
