MORGAN HILL, Calif. (March 31, 2020) - LEM Helmets, manufacturer of innovative, stylish, and performance head protection for cycling and motorsports, is committed to its current and prospective Independent Bicycle Dealer partners, while supporting the cycling industry. Understanding the impact dealers – and the industry as an entire community – have experienced during this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, LEM is working closely with and supporting its IBD partners in creating plans that help in weathering the storm and mitigating financial loss.

“During these uncertain times, it goes without saying that we all have to work together. For LEM, our dealer partnerships are the lifeline of our sales program and structure across the nation – it’s family,” said Sam Whitley, LEM national sales manager. “The value and dedication we have for our relationships help define who we are, and, in doing our part, it’s our responsibility to work with dealers to ensure we take the right steps to protect against loss, and, ultimately, lay down the framework to collectively come out stronger.”

For LEM, listening to its dealer partners has been pivotal. While its partners brace for the impact the pandemic might have on its businesses, each situation is unique. LEM plans to continue its communication with its sales force and dealer base during this time to tailor programs case-by-case in an effort to build business security, while, in turn, helping to support the health and growth of the cycling industry for the future.

“The communication and conversations that we and our sales rep force have had with each other and our dealers have been crucial and invaluable in determining the right steps to put in place,” said Whitley. “We plan to keep the dialogue open with our support, with the goal of finding the optimal balance for business.”

LEM’s family of products include eight distinct helmets and 50-plus colorways in the road, mountain bike, commuter, and kids categories. Later this year, the brand plans to introduce new, highly-featured road, DH/Enduro, and urban/commute helmets to compliment its existing collection and further illustrate its strong product design and development.
