DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (BRAIN) — A newly opened bike shop is now the UAE's exclusive Cannondale distributor.
The Cyclery in Dubai was opened by the Emsons Group, a family-owned business with roots in the UAE for more than 100 years.
"Our partnership with Emsons will allow us to leverage their vast industry knowledge and local experience allowing Cannondale to extend its reach across the UAE, welcoming more new riders to the sport than ever before," said Seth Brosnan, Cannondale's vice president of international distributor sales.
In September 2021, Emsons General Trading began distributing Cannondale and GT Bicycles across the Gulf Cooperation Council, which covers UAE, Oman, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
Emsons is a distributor of global outdoor, toy, and home brands that include Playmobil, Tonka, and Thermos. In addition to Cannondale and GT, other bike brands include Schwinn and Mongoose. Recently, the Emsons Group opened The Cyclery – Dubai's newest bicycle shop located on the busy Umm Suqueim Street.
The Cyclery dedicated a quarter of its 4,000-square-foot retail space to a workshop to service the needs of all cyclists.
In addition to Cannondale, The Cyclery carries GT, Mongoose, Schwinn, Isadore, DMT, WTB, Favero, Oakley, CyclOn, and Prologo.
