Program helps Alta Cycling brands alert customers to bike availability

Published October 19, 2021

KENT, Wash. (BRAIN) — Alta Cycling Group offers authorized dealers a way to inform their online consumers when a bike is locally available and direct them to the shop.

The Live Data Program is a free service any authorized Diamondback, iZip, Redline, and Haibike dealer can use. Opting-in provides a data feed via point-of-sale system integration through Beeline Connect. Consumers then can locate the bike at a nearby shop, and the system directs them to that dealer for purchase.

"Initiatives such as Alta's Live Data Program are critical to Race Pace Bicycles," said Nik Obriecht of Race Pace Bicycles, an authorized Alta Cycling Group dealer in Baltimore. "Alta ensures that we are in the best position possible to leverage our inventory and that we are in front of the right customer at the right time in a rapidly changing retail environment. It is a win-win-win for Race Pace Bicycles, Alta Cycling Group, and those customers we seek to serve."

Alta Cycling Group said technological advancements such as the Live Data Program further integrate the online and in-store shopping.

Interested retailers should contact their area sales teams to learn more about the program and how to integrate their POS systems.
