New BRAIN/Verde podcast series examines a changing industry

In first episode of podcast series, SRAM's Kate Powlison discusses the AXS launch

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — On Monday, BRAIN and Verde Brand Communications launched the first in a series of podcasts devoted to the evolution of the bike market and cycling community.

BRAIN has worked with Verde to produce six podcasts: special bike industry-focused episodes of Verde's Channel Mastery podcast hosted by Kristin Carpenter. Carpenter talks to leaders and experts from evolving brick-and-mortar specialty, marketplace, direct-first brands, SaaS providers, and established broad-market global retailers in the bicycle and lifestyle space. You’ll be hearing from leaders from companies like SRAM, Canyon, GCN, Erik’s Bike and Board, Decathlon, Beeline and more. 

The first episode features Carpenter's conversation with Kate Powlison, SRAM’s road brand manager. Powlison previously was the senior marketing and communications manager at PeopleForBikes. She works directly with SRAM's PR, product development, road sports marketing, and sales teams to develop and execute strategies for brand and product marketing.
