The Bike Hub opens second location as Giant Partner Store

SPOKANE, WA (BRAIN) — The Bike Hub opened its second location in downtown Spokane, Washington last week. Owner Chris Andreasen teamed up with Giant’s retail merchandising team to design the 2,600 square foot Giant Partner Store.

“We began selling Giant in our Sprague Street store in 2010,” said Andreasen. “We’ve always been very impressed – not only with the terrific products, but also with the incredible help we get from everyone with the company. When we decided to pull the trigger on the new store, it was only natural to continue the partnership with Giant. The place looks great.”

The new store joins several other retail businesses and restaurants downtown Spokane’s Riverside neighborhood. The Spokane River Centennial Trail, a 37-mile paved bike path running through the heart of the city, is located a few blocks away.

“Chris was brilliant in choosing this location,” said Reuben Hernandez, Giant USA’s merchandising manager. “And the building is a treasure. With unique features such as brick and wood floors, we designed the space to add more bike- and gear-selling areas while maintaining much of the store's local and historical feel. The business environment is warm, open and friendly. Most important of all – Chris and his team now have two great bike shops to serve the city.”
