LOUISVILLE, CO (BRAIN)—Pearl Izumi has begun operations from its new U.S. headquarters located in Louisville, Colorado.
Louisville is located in Boulder County where Pearl Izumi was launched in the U.S. 27 years ago.
Previously, Pearl Izumi was located about five miles away in Broomfield.
The 90,000-square-foot building includes approximately 55,000 square feet of warehouse space and 35,000 square feet of offices.
Included in the space is an enhanced prototype area with the capacity to sample products as well as custom items such as Speedsuits for professional teams.
“We are extremely happy to have completed our move without interruption to our customers,” said Pearl Izumi senior vice president of sales Rob Mossman. “We now have a fantastic facility for our employees with access to run trails and great lunch road rides.”
Pearl Izumi employs 110 people in the new Colorado location, as well as 35 in Kirchgarten, Germany.
The new location had already been serving as Pearl Izumi's warehouse, and was sold in January by Nautilus, Pearl's former owner. Pearl Izumi is leasing the building from its owner, a Colorado real estate company.
Shimano American purchased Pearl Izumi from Nautilus on April 23 for $70 million.
