(BRAIN) — BMC Switzerland is recalling all Kaius 01 bikes and framesets for inspection because of concerns over the fork steerer tube separating.
According to BMC, "there are few reported instances to date." The brand said to stop riding the recalled bikes and bring them to a local BMC retailer who will perform an inspection. If a replacement fork is required, a new one will be provided and installed at no cost.
This voluntary recall affects the following Kaius 01 models:
- 2023 ONE
- 2023 TWO
- 2023 THREE
- 2024 LTD
- 2024 ONE
- 2024 TWO
- 2024 THREE
- 2026 THREE
- 2026 FRS
