BOB Trailers Recalls Strollers

Published October 30, 2011

BOISE, ID (BRAIN)— BOB Trailers Inc. has issued a recall for its strollers with embroidered canopy logos, saying the backing patch of the canopy’s embroidered logo can detach, posing a choking hazard for babies and young children.

The recall involves BOB strollers manufactured between 1998 and November 2010 identified by a “BOB,” “Stroller Strides” or “Ironman” embroidered logo on the canopy.

BOB is ordering consumers to immediately stop using the strollers and go to www.bobnotices.com for instructions on how to remove the embroidery backing patch from the logo.

The Boise, Idaho, company is instituting the recall in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission Health Canada. This is the second such recall for BOB stroller this year. A recall announced in February involved the removal of a canopy drawstring.

For additional information on the latest recall, BOB can be reached toll free at (855) 242-2245 between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mountain time.
