AMES, IA (BRAIN)—Cycle Source Group recently announced that they would begin manufacturing a broad range of Polaris and Victory bicycles, tricycles and related accessories as part of a long term licensing agreement with Polaris Industries.
"This is an exciting opportunity for our company to be associated with a brand known as an industry leader in ATV's, snowmobiles, utility vehicles and now on and off road bicycles," said Nyle Nims, president of Cycle Source Group. "Polaris has been selling American-made products since 1954. Polaris stands for great things like quality, performance, ruggedness, and reliability, along with fun, excitement and a love of the outdoors. Polaris positioning and advertising theme ‘The Way Out’ signifies what the brand stands for and what we hope to bring to the brand in the way of bicycles and fun.
"We will position Victory Bicycles as the crème de le crème of our bicycle offerings."The Victory slogan, ‘Wherever you ride, we ride with you’ states very succinctly what our mission is with Victory Bicycles and where we will take this exciting brand," Nims said.
Pat Matthews, licensing manager of Polaris Industries, echoed Nims' statements while offering support of Polaris Industries, its dealers and staff to make this foray into the bicycle business yet another success story in the history of Polaris Industries.
“We welcome Cycle Source Group to the Polaris Family,” Matthews said. “This agreement extends the Polaris brand into a market that also enjoys the outdoors and complements our current product offering.”
Polaris and Victory Bicycles will be introduced this September to the industry with full scale distribution beginning in 2008.
