BOULDER, CO (BRAIN) Monday April 16 2012 9:19 AM MT—Future Publishing said it is accelerating BikeRadar.com's growth in the U.S. market with a staff expansion and a soon-to-be-released North American site.

Future announced an expanded editorial team on Monday, with the addition of Ben Delaney as the U.S. editor-in-chief. Delaney has 13 years of cycling journalism experience, including four years as editor-in-chief of VeloNews. Most recently he served as global brand communications manager at Specialized Bicycle. He also is a former staffer at Bicycle Retailer & Industry News.

Delaney joins two BikeRadar journalists based in Boulder: Matt Pacocha and James Huang.

“As BikeRadar’s traffic proves, Matt and James have been doing fantastic work for years now, giving riders around the globe honest, intelligent assessments on all sorts of bikes and gear. I am honored to be riding and writing with both of them,” Delaney said.

Internationally, BikeRadar continues to be led by Global editor-in-chief Jeff Jones.

“I’m delighted to welcome Ben aboard as BikeRadar’s U.S. editor-in-chief,” Jones said. “Strengthening our U.S. editorial team will enable us to broaden our offering in the cycling sector, as well as to improve it.”

According to the company, BikeRadar.com has a global audience of 2.2 million unique monthly visitors.

BikeRadar will launch its North American site in June.
