Pacenti Cycle Design hires David Cash • Yakima adds new managers for marketing and digital & eCommerce
CHATTANOOGA, TN (BRAIN) Feb 23, 08:48 MT— David Cash has joined Pacenti Cycle Design as its global sales and marketing manager.
“Our frame materials business has doubled in the last eight months,” said Kirk Pacenti, company founder. “This, combined with the growing demand for our tires and rims, required that I bring on someone who could take over sales and marketing responsibilities,” he added.
Cash has 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the bicycle industry, most notably working with Litespeed/American Bicycle Group, and later at Lynskey Performance.
Pacenti has been supplying custom framebuilders with raw materials for the last 12 years, but recently launched a component brand focusing on 650b mountain bike tires and now, a line of MTB and road bike rims.
“The demand for our new rims really caught me by surprise, but David is the perfect person to handle this aspect of the business. He’s done a great job building strong relationships with IBD’s and International distributors in the past,” Pacenti said.
