VAN NUYS, CA (BRAIN) Feb 10, 09:50 MT —Easton-Bell Sports has appointed new presidents of its Bell/Blackburn and Giro/Easton divisions as the company looks to increase the differentiation between each brand.

Steve Bigelow has been appointed president of Bell/Blackburn and Donna Flood has been made president of Giro/Easton Cycling. Both were promoted from within the organization.

“The investments we’re making within Bell and Giro will allow us to accelerate our product innovation and uniquely position each brand in the market place," said Paul Harrington, Easton-Bell's president and chief executive officer.

The company said that Bell "will draft off its heritage in motor sports while it continues to bring innovative products to market in the bike, power sports and skate categories."

Giro, meanwhile, will expand "into other key categories in the outdoor adventure space."

“The Bell and Giro teams have achieved impressive results over the past two years, and this is the next step in their continued growth,” said Harrington. “Having focused leadership within each brand gives us the ability to expand globally at a faster pace.”
