Giant, YSC Sponsoring Bike Design Contest

Published October 2, 2011

NEWBURY PARK, CA (BRAIN)—October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and for the entire month Giant Bicycle and the Young Survival Coalition are sponsoring a bicycle design contest open to those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.

The contest will let the artistic talent of breast cancer survivors shine through in custom designing a Liv/giant Avail 1 road bike that will be produced and sold by Giant retailers throughout the United States.

The winning entry will be selected by a team of judges from the Young Survival Coalition (YSC) and Giant, and the drawing will become a reality in the form of a special edition 2012 Liv/giant Avail 1. The artist of the selected entry will also win one of the special edition Avail 1 bicycles.

Entries for the YSC/Giant Bicycle Design Contest must be submitted by Monday, October 31. For an entry form, the official rules, and a design template on which to work, click on above link.
