WILMINGTON, MA (BRAIN) — Pedro's president and general manager Matt Simpson has decided to leave the company in mid-September.
He announced his departure in an email to friends and colleagues.
"When I accepted the role as president and GM I recognized the importance of the role being that of a transitional role," Simpson wrote in the email. "The priority for our business was supply chain management/operations and moving toward a sustainable ownership structure. I am proud to recognize the significant business improvements we have made but most importantly we are close to a new ownership structure that has the objective to be sustainable."
Simpson said he will resurface soon in the bicycle industry. Pedro's Matt Bracken will fill Simpson's role for the time being.
