Haro Launches New Web Site

Published November 2, 2010

VISTA, CA (BRAIN)—Haro Bicycles has launched a new Web site with a completely updated look to showcase its 2011 MTB/Asphalt product, news, athletes, videos, photos and company information.

“We redesigned the vast majority of our entire 2011 model line, so it made sense to also redesign the website,” said Jill Hamilton, MTB/Asphalt bike brand manager. “Had we not redesigned it after making so many awesome changes to the product, it would have been like putting on worn-out shoes with a crisp, new suit”.

The new Web site reflects Haro’s continued commitment to video as a means to get their message across to consumers, according to a press release. Each bicycle model page will host a short educational video clip explaining the features and benefits of that model. All of these short video clips are rolled up into a “Videolog” digital catalog which will also be made available for viewing on the website. In addition to the product-oriented video clips, there will be plenty of action videos featuring Haro’s athletes uploaded on a regular basis as well.

In effort to better support a “paperless” environment, the site also features a digital version of the 2011 Haro MTB/Asphalt bike catalog that can be viewed in a similar fashion to a printed catalog by virtually “turning” the pages. Users will have the ability to print the catalog and share the catalog with others via e-mail or on their personal social media pages. Previous year catalogs will also available for viewing.

The new site also features complete 2011 product information, news, athlete biographies, a dealer locator, FAQ, and company information.
