GRAND JUNCTION, CO (BRAIN)—DT Swiss has hired Shane Hensley to lead its event and field support.
“I am looking forward to training our retail and OEM partners, and helping DT Swiss in our next phase of growth,” Hensley said.
Hensley will work directly with the sales and marketing team to enhance dealer relations and provide technical support at both events and inside bicycle shops across North America.
“Shane has been a great guy to work with over the last six years. Even though he represented his own contracting company, he always viewed and performed his role as if he was a DT Swiss team member. As our company has grown and as we head into the next phase of our growth, it made complete sense to make Shane a full-time team member," said Chip Barbieri, GM/CEO of DT Swiss Inc. Hensley has been an extremely important member of the DT Swiss family for the past six years working as an independent contractor with Velocity Racing, providing technical support for DT Swiss at events such as Sea Otter, Mountain States Cup and North American World Cups. Hensley has an outstanding relationship with members of the industry, racing teams and dealers through his almost 20 years in the cycling industry.
