MONTREAL, Quebec (BRAIN)—Outdoor Gear Canada (OGC) has been named one of three Québec finalists (manufacturing category) in Ernst & Young's 2010 Canadian Entrepreneur of the Year competition.
Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year recognizes high-achieving entrepreneurs in Canada and around the world who drive growth, build communities and transform industries. The Canadian program is in its 17th year of honoring the country’s most impressive entrepreneurs from all areas of business.
“Our Québec finalists are entrepreneurial leaders and visionaries who have created and built market-leading businesses,” said François Dufresne, partner and director of the Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards in Québec. “Their accomplishments have taken business excellence to new heights, helped create jobs and contributed to the vibrancy of communities across Canada.”
The name of the Quebec winner will be announced at a gala banquet October 27 and will represent Quebec at the national banquet to be held in Toronto in November.
