SCOTTS VALLEY, CA (BRAIN)—Industry veteran Pat Hus has been hired by Easton Bell Sports and will serve as the company’s director of sales for specialty retail channel.
Hus most recently served as CEO of Titus Cycles in Tempe, Arizona. Hus left the company in January to explore new opportunities.
“I’ve always been a huge fan,” Hus said of Easton Bell Sports. “I’ve always admired their group of brands (Easton, Bell, Giro and Blackburn).” Hus added that he saw it as a good fit since his industry background is in high-end product.
Back in the late ‘80s Hus was actually a sales rep for Giro/Blackburn, saying that coming to Easton he’s already seen “a lot of old, familiar faces.”
Hus was brought in not only to grow the business, but also to shore up the company’s “operational side of things” including delivery. These types of growing pains are a good problem to have, Hus said.
Hus will work out of his home office in Chandler, Arizona—when he’s in the office. “I’ll be doing a lot of traveling, visiting our outside reps, dealers,” Hus said.
