COON VALLEY, WI (BRAIN)—Mt. Borah has a new way to showcase its 2010 spring/summer product line with “Rep In A Box."
“Several years ago, we decided to service our accounts from the inside and not manage an outside sales force. To compensate for the absence of an outside Mt. Borah sales representative, we decided to get creative and offer a unique way for our dealers to review the new collections. So far it has worked out really nice, dealers absolutely love being able to review the line on their terms, plus it does not cost them a penny,” said Chris Jackson, Mt. Borah's owner.
Mt. Borah even commissioned a local illustrator to create their virtual sales rep guy who appears to be jumping out of the box, anxious to present the line and book orders. The rep does not have a name quite yet, but the company does plan to name him in the near future. Mt. Borah products can be ordered direct from the company or through Quality Bicycle Products.
