LAS VEGAS, NV (BRAIN)—Lake Cycling has entered into a distribution partnership with Veltec Sports.
Going forward, Veltec will be the exclusive distributor of Lake Cycling Shoes in the United States. “The purpose of this partnership is to better serve the US bicycle dealer by combining Veltec’s sales, marketing and distribution strengths in cycling footwear with Lake’s design, development and innovation.” said Lee Katz, founder and president of Lake Cycling Shoes.
Veltec has over 25 years of experience in the cycling footwear market, more than any other independent sales, marketing and distribution organization in the United States.
Manfred Krikke, chief executive officer of Veltec Sports, thinks that Lake is an excellent opportunity for the dealers to grow its cycling footwear business. “In the past couple of years, we’ve noticed a strong demand for the innovation and design that Lake Cycling Shoes offers,” Krikke said. “Lake offers strong innovation, a great fit, style, light weight, more competitive and stable pricing, no grey market imports and better margins for our dealer partners.”
