IMBA Hires New Membership Manager

BOULDER, CO (BRAIN)—IMBA has selected Rod Judd as its new membership manager.

An active figure in the cycling and outdoor industry, Judd has worked with several sports-oriented magazines and publishing firms. Judd will guide IMBA's membership marketing efforts, teaming with Interactive marketing manager Jason Bertolacci and member services coordinator Mike Dahl.

"Rod is excited to take the reins, and I am equally enthusiastic," said IMBA development director Rich Cook. "There were many strong candidates for this position, but Rod's depth of experience and positive energy won out in the end."

Originally from Sydney, Australia, where he obtained degrees in communications and marketing, Judd has more than nine years experience in the bike, fitness and outdoor industries. He recently worked with IMBA Corporate Member Catalyst Communication, helping to manage the Trek account, among others. Prior to that he was the circulation marketing manager for Inside Communications, and he has served as circulation/new business manager for Primedia's Action Sports Group.

Judd is a committed bicycle advocate, volunteering to help organize Boulder County Walk and Bike Month, Boulder Bike to Work Day and events for Bicycle Colorado. He lives in Broomfield, Colorado with his family, and enjoys all manner of cycling, trail running and snow sports.
